Introduction
In May 1996, Costa Rica prepared to face a new era of social inclusion and equality of opportunity for people with disabilities. With the creation of the Law 7600, it affirmed the right to equal access in all aspects of daily life. More than a decade after its creation, there are still many issues in our daily lives and political legislation that need to be addressed to achieve the equality stated in Law 7600.
